This book takes kids through yoga-inspired movements and helps them use their imaginations to become animals, such as a sneaky cat, a colorful bird, or a playful puppy. This app will help improve your child’s balance, flexibility, range of motion, and strength, as well as teaching him or her how to relax in a chaotic environment. Full of dazzling color, lifelike sound effects, and the joy of imagination, this book will lead your child through invigorating movements in a uniquely fun and imaginative way.
The book was designed by a speech therapist and a yoga instructor to help kids focus on the task at hand. The movements are broken up into a warmup, the main workout, and a cool down. Go through the whole routine with them -- or just pick a few pages at random -- and watch your child become calmer and more focused. Use the warm-up to energize children for the day ahead. Utilize the cool down to calm and relax anxious minds. Or perhaps take kids through the workout to help them "get their wiggles out" when theyre bouncing off the walls!
Embracing various learning styles allows us to reach visual learners with beautiful images, auditory learners with playful narration, and tactile learners with movements connected to the words and imagery.

This app was created with kids in mind, but don’t let that stop you from joining in on the fun!

“Speech pathologists are experts in accommodations treatments which improve and enhance learning. One way to effectively improve overall attention, participation, and retention is to provide short breaks between activities. This app provides the visual and auditory framework for tactile-kinesthetic activities designed to maintain effective attention, provide positive social reinforcement, and ease transitions before and after therapy and between activities.” – Eric J. Powell, Speech Therapist

"Practicing yoga is beneficial for everyone. At a young age it teaches total body movement and gross motor development, while giving them tools for stress management and helping them create a relaxed, peaceful state of mind and body. By going through the movements and poses, it teaches how to clear the mind and focus on the effort. The benefits being, increased concentration, more relaxed breathing, and self-confidence." - Maria Wittekiend, Yoga Instructor
